The Polytron 2 XP Tox is an explosion-proof gas detector that monitors 80 toxic gases and oxygen in ambient air. The unit is designed for one-man, nonintrusive calibration and offers a variety of diagnostics and self-test features. According to the manufacturer, the configuration and calibration of the transmitter is menu driven and is accomplished using the infrared remote control, the built-in pushbuttons or a Hart handheld terminal.
