The Z-Line MR-8 pleated air filter is an all-synthetic media filter that achieves a MERV 8 rating under the proposed ASHRAE Standard 52.2P. According to the manufacturer, the MR-8 pleat provides higher efficiency particulate removal than standard polyester/cotton media pleated filters with virtually no change in initial pressure drop. The product is available in 1-, 2- and 4-inch depths in most standard and special face dimensions.
