Listeria contamination results in wrongful death lawsuit
A Memphis, TN, resident — whose wife died of listeria monocytogenes meningitis after eating hot dogs contaminated with the listeria bacteria — has reportedly filed the first wrongful death lawsuit in the nation arising from the recent outbreak traced to contaminated meat products produced at Sara Lee`s Bil Mar manufacturing plant in Zeeland, MI.
