Rosemount Analytical Adds pH and Dissolved OxygenSensors

By Lisa Nadile

IRVINE, CA—Rosemount Analytical's Uniloc Division is now selling pH and dissolved oxygen sensors for steam-in-place and autoclaving systems. According to the manufacturer, Models Hx338 and Hx348 use a reference technology that protects the sensor from poisonous ions that can cause false pH readings. These pH sensors also use a reinforced steel membrane to extend their life. They are available in a number of different styles.

The dissolved oxygen sensors, Model Hx438 and Gx448, also use a reinforced steel membrane to withstand high pressures while achieving high diffusion rates and rapid response times, say manufacturers. These sensors use an electrolyte solution to inhibit anode contamination to ensure long life, they add.
