Wells Lamont Acquires Protective Clothing Divisions From JOMAC

NILES, IL—Protective glove manufacturer Wells Lamont announced its acquisition of JOMAC's glove and protective clothing divisions. According to executives at the Wells Lamont Industry Group, in addition to their Wizard cut-resistant gloves, customers now have access to an extended product line, including heat resistant gloves and protective clothing.

The divisions acquired from JOMAC, Inc. are JOMAC Products and JOMAC Canada. The company is targeting Canada as a new area of growth for North America, say officials. The Warrington, PA-based JOMAC manufacturers heat resistant terry cloth and Kevlar gloves, vinyl-coated gloves, and mitts and sleeves.
