Invesys Sell Vokes Filtration to McLeod Russel

LONDON, ENGLAND—Ivensys has sold its air and liquid filtration business to McLeod Russel Holdings. Part of the London, England-based Ivensys plc, Environmental Division, Vokes was sold for £8 million cash. In addition McLeod will assume the company's £2.5 million mortgage.

Vokes's net operating assets are approximately £9 million before a goodwill wrote off £2 million. The concern's sales for the year ending September 30, 1999 were £17 million. The company specializes in filtration systems for health, industrial, and environmental equipment.

McLeod Russel Holdings plc will combine Vokes with its Infiltra product line as part of its European clean air and filtration business push.
