Bullen Ultrasonics Purchases Kayex CZ-150 Crystal Growing System

Easton, OH—May 30, 2000—Bullen Ultrasonics has purchased a Ferrofluidics CZ-150 silicon crystal growing system from Kayex. The company will install the system next to its 300 mm crystal grower. Bullen manufactures precision ultrasonic machining and also sells silicon products to the semiconductor equipment industry.

The purchase was Kayex’s first since the company acquired this crystal grower product line from Ferrofluidics Corp. The Rochester, NY-based Kayex manufactures CZ silicon crystal growing systems, and is a unit SPX Corporation.
