Cadence and Partners Offer Design and Manufacturing Outsource Program

SAN JOSE, Calif.—May 26, 2000—Cadence and partners have formed SurePath Customer-Owned Tooling Solution, which gives IC manufacturers the option to work with vendors and suppliers with a planned integration of their products and services. The program's goal is to reduce integration hassles for companies outsourcing all or parts of their production. It covers IC design services, libraries, IP, fabrication, packaging, and testing. SurePath is for fabless semiconductor and electronic systems manufacturers initially.
