Nanya Orders Applied Materials’ Ultima and Producer CVD Systems for DRAM Production

SANTA CLARA, Calif.—June 30, 2000—Taiwan's Nanya Technology has placed an order for multiple CVD systems from Applied Materials for its newest DRAM foundry fab. The purchase includes Ultima HDP-CVD (high-density plasma-CVD) Centura systems and Producer systems, which are expected to be used for all dielectric film applications in the production of Nanya's advanced DRAM devices.
