Telecom Semiconductor to Acquire Mead Microelectronics

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.—July 21, 2000—TelCom Semiconductor Inc. announced plans to acquire MEAD Microelectronics, a privately held Swiss company, to enhance TelCom's presence in the data converter and communication segments of the analog market.
