CleanRooms magazine received a silver award for “Best single news story” in the East region and took home the bronze award for the same article at the National Editorial Excellence awards ceremony held at the Embassy of Finland in Washington, DC, on June 21. The award was presented by the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) as part of its Annual Excellence Awards competition. The award was presented to CleanRooms' contributing writer Judy Keller (right) of Milford, NH, who wrote the award-winning news story, “Contamination threat prompts FDA to add warning to urokinase shipments,” which appeared in the March 1999 issue of CleanRooms.
