KLA Elects New Board Members

SAN JOSE, Calif.—Aug 22, 2000—KLA Tencor announced the appointment of two new members to its board of directors. H. Raymond Bingham and Robert T. Bond were elected to the company's board on Aug. 15 and will fill vacancies by the retirement of Leo J. Chamberlain and Samuel Rubinovitz, and the resignation of James W Bagley.
