Macronix and Tower Semiconductor Enter Production Agreement

Taiwan and Isreal—Aug. 14, 2000—Macronix International Co. Ltd. and Tower Semiconductor Ltd. have signed a five-year manufacturing and technology cooperation agreement. Tower will supply Macronix with IC wafers designed using Tower's microFLASH process and other process technologies. The companies will cooperate in the development of microFLASH-based manufacturing processes in the future.
