Zoran, Nogatech Plan Merger

SANTA CLARA, Calif.—Aug. 24, 2000—With both parties stating the development of MPEG-4 compression technology as a primary goal, Zoran Corporation and Nogatech Inc. have signed a merger agreement. Nogatech will operate as a subsidiary of Zoran.
