BASF Opens German Cleanroom

LUDWIGSHAFEN, Germany – Oct. 3, 2000 – BASF has opened a new $1 million cleanroom at its Ludwigshafen location, which serves as the company's main site and headquarters of the BASF Group.

The facility will be used primarily for certifying chemicals and allows the company to evaluate electronic -grade chemicals.
