Singapore Fab Up and Running

Singapore — September 26, 2000 — Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Co. is up and running now that the Singapore-based wafer fabrication facility has produced its first silicon. SSCM is a joint venture between Dutch-based Royal Philips Electronics’ Philips Semiconductors, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co and Singapore’s Economic Development Board Investments.
