NEWARK, CA — Nov. 6, 2000 — LightLogic, Inc. has opened a new 30,000 sq. foot facility housing a manufacturing plant, research and developlment space, and the company's corporate headquarters.
Included in the manufacturing plant is an ISO Class 7 (Class 10,000) cleanroom and a dedicated electronics assembly and test facility. The plant has initial installed capacity of 150,000 optical modules per year. In addition, all of the company’s corporate sales, marketing and administrative functions will performed at the Newark site.
“All of the pieces are now in place for us to accelerate our product commercialization activities and our pursuit of new optical networking OEM customers,” said LightLogic CEO John McGraw.
The company will close its Santa Clara office.
