Pentagon to Open New Semiconductor Cleaning Facility

FREMONT, CA — Nov. 22, 2000 — Pentagon Technologies is planning to open its fifth semiconductor parts cleaning and reconditioning facility in Portland, Ore.

The Pacific Northwest Semiconductor Parts Services Operation will be serve the Rocky Mountain region and greater Pacific Northwest. Specifically, the 30,000 square foot facility will focus on the cleaning and reconditioning of parts and assemblies used for 200-300 mm wafers, sub 180 nanometer fabrication techniques, and copper interconnect processing.

“We are the largest supplier in the world for parts reconditioning services, and our customers need local support. Pentagon is building the team and infrastructure to be a complete supplier to the integrated circuit industry,” said Frank McBride, president of Pentagon.

Pentagon also operates facilities in Hayward, Ca., Menlo Park, Ca., East Fishkill, NY, and Austin.
