Infineon opens Israel offices

Nethanya, Israel–Infineon Technologies AG, a Munich, Germany-based worldwide provider of communications ICs, has opened its Infineon Technologies Savan offices in Nethanya, Israel, focusing on broadband access business.

“Infineon Technologies’ long-term commitment is to provide its industry-leading customers with cutting-edge technologies that meet time-to-market, are cost-effective, and comply with the scalability requirements,” explains Dr. Ulrich Schumacher, president and CEO of Infineon. “We found Israel to have a vast resource of highly qualified communications experts. Based on our on-going successful cooperation with the Israeli high-tech companies and having established a DSP development center in Tel-Aviv, it was only natural for Infineon to establish our Broadband Access activities here.”

Infineon operates in the U.S. from San Jose, California, in the Asia-Pacific region from Singapore, and in Japan from Tokyo.
