Nominations being accepted for the 2001 SEMI Award for North America

FEB. 8 San Jose, California–Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI) is accepting nominations for the SEMI Award for North America, which will be presented at the 28th Annual SEMI Dinner and Award Ceremony at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose on September 27, 2001. The award, which has been presented annually since 1979, honors those who have made outstanding technical contributions to the semiconductor industry.

Individuals or teams from North American-based industry or academia are eligible for the award. Nominations may be submitted for those who have produced an advancement of significant value to the progress of the semiconductor equipment and materials supplier community, which subsequently benefited the semiconductor industry. Recipients of the award are selected by the SEMI Award for North America Committee, a group of industry executives and previous SEMI award winners.

All nominations must be received by 5:00 p.m. on March 30, 2001.
