FEB. 20, 2001 – PORTLAND, ORE — After more than doubling its workforce during the past year, Synetics Solutions Inc. has moved into a new 170,000 square foot headquarters campus. The move will triple the amount of space for Synetics.
In June, 2000 the company had 110 employees. That number has grown to 245. Similarly, the company saw $40 million in sales in 2000, up from $9 million in 1999.
The new facility, located in Gresham, consists of two new buildings. The first houses 125,000 square feet of clanroom space, development labs and offices. The second building, totaling 45,000 square feet, houses a powder coating line capable of Class A finishes, as well as sheet metal, precision machining and welding capabilities.
“This move allows us to better serve our customers with increased manufacturing capacity and fabrication capabilities,” said Greg Marvell, president and COO. “It also allows us to provide the quality work environment and amenities needed to attract and retain employees in the competitive technology job market.”
Synetics specializes in airflow management, automation integration and contract manufacturing for the semiconductor equipment industry. The company was previously located in Tigard, Ore.
