August 8, 2001 — SALEM, NH — Amberwave Systems recently completed its new fabrication facility, which features 6,000 square feet of cleanroom space.
“Amberwave’s new state-of-the-art facility will be the center of our research and development efforts for the next ten years,” said Ken Petocelli, director of operations for Amberwave.
The company specializes in technology that increases silicon-based integrated circuits’ capabilities. According to the company’s website, the technology ‘nables a portfolio of high-speed, high-transconductance devices that are optimized to perform in digital, analog, or mixed signal systems, providing licensed users with distinct cost, efficiency, and performance benefits.’
The 25,000 square foot facility was designed by Lloyd Architects of Plymouth, Mass. Am Tech engineers, Inc. of Stoughton, Mass. designed the mechanical systems and Hodess Building Company provided general construction services.
