Shima’s San Jose Facility Now Includes Clearoom Services

August 1, 2001 — SAN JOSE, CA — Shima American Corp. has expanded the scope of its San Jose technology facility to offer cleanroom services, including independent laboratory analysis with an Ion Chromatography laboratory.

The facility also features ISO Class 5 (Class 100) and ISO Class 6 (Class 1,000) cleanrooms.

The laboratory analysis includes analytical testing and qualification of a number of materials, component surface contamination porosity testing, and analytical water testing.

Shima American markets a wide range of products for high technology industries. The San Jose facility is used primarily as a processing center for Shima’ UltraPure PVA brush rollers.
