PSi Technologies signs agreement with Power Integrations

Dec.18, 2001 – Manila, Philippines – PSi Technologies Holdings Inc. has signed a supply agreement with Power Integrations Inc., San Jose, CA, designer and maker of high-voltage ICs for AC to DC power conversion.

Under the agreement, PSi will provide power integrations (PI) with outsourced assembly services primarily for their TO220 integrated off-line switcher Topswitch IC family.

PSi Chairman and CEO, Arthur Young, Jr. said, “The agreement will make PSi one of the largest back-end service providers of PI. We believe that they will benefit greatly from the emphasis that the US government is now putting on power conservation and energy-saving technologies.”
