Hemlock Semiconductor signs contract with Praxair Semiconductor Materials

March 21, 2002 – Danbury, CT – Praxair Inc. has signed a multiyear contract for the supply of process gases to Hemlock Semiconductor Corp. (HSC).

HSC is located in Hemlock, MI.

Under the terms of the contract, valued at more than $20 million, Praxair will provide bulk liquid nitrogen and liquid hydrogen to support HSC’s manufacturing of polycrystalline silicon.
