LSI joins Link Alliance

March 7, 2002 – Milpitas, CA – LSI Logic Corp. has joined Eurologic Systems’ LINK Alliance Program. LSI will work in collaboration with Eurologic to enable users of storage-critical applications to implement pre-tested, interoperable SCSI and fibre channel host bus adapters (HBAs) with Eurologic’s network storage systems across a SAN environment.

The alliance facilitates cost-effective maintenance of data stability, while enhancing overall storage configuration performance, by deploying pre-tested storage application configurations, the company said.

“Arriving early-to-market with interoperable storage technology has always been a priority for LSI Logic,” said Bob Anderson, director for LSI Logic’s host bus adapter group. “We are pleased to be joining other manufacturers of complementary network storage technologies in the Eurologic Systems LINK Alliance Program to provide our customers with a cost-effective migration path and optimized performance in a variety of storage applications.”
