Pall opens LS facility

April 16, 2002–Hauppauge, NY–Filter manufacturer Pall Corporation today opened a new life science filter manufacturing facility in Hauppauge, NY.

The new 75,000 square foot facility is considered a "controlled environement" and will be used to manufacture filtration systems for the biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and blood banking industries. Pall says it expects double-digit growth in sales for those three market segments over the next three to five years.

"Pall is committed to improving the safety of manufactured drugs and transfusion medicine and to the growth of biotechnology on Long Island," says Eric Krasnoff, Pall’s Chairman and CEO.
