Clare launches MEMS foundry services

June 25, 2002 — Clare Inc. said it has launched wafer foundry services for MEMS and other processing technologies, according to a company news release.

The firm said its expertise in high-voltage processing and experience with several customers have enabled it to make 125 millimeter silicon wafer foundry services commercially available.

Clare is a wholly owned subsidiary of IXYS Corp. IXYS completed the acquisition earlier this month.
