June 11, 2002 — Nanotechnology’s evolving role in life sciences will be discussed June 21 during the annual meeting of Cornell University’s Nanobiotechnology Center.
The meeting, whose theme is “Moving into the Future,” will include presentations on current research, including opportunities in medicine and the novel properties of nanostructures. Researchers at the center are designing advanced biochips that can analyze chemicals in minute samples and separate DNA with unprecedented speed and precision.
