Festo opens new design center

June 4, 2000–Livermore, CA–Festo Corporation has opened a new Integrated Solution Manufacturing facility. The 20,000 square-foot facility houses an ISO Class 6 and 7 cleanroom.

The facility will support development and assembly of automation equipment for the semiconductor industry as well as the biotech and special packaging industries.

The Livermore facility is an extension of the company’s manufacturing facility located in Long Island, NY. The new facility will be staffed with operations, engineering, production control and production personnel services, which includes: engineering design, sales support, and warehousing and system integration assembly services.
