Venture capitalist Freudenthal quits meVC

June 19, 2002 — Peter Freudenthal, a venture capitalist who has spoken on investment opportunities in nanotechnology, has resigned from meVC.com Inc., meVC Advisers Inc. and meVC Draper Fisher Jurvetson Fund I Inc., according to a company release.

MeVC, whose fund trades publicly like a mutual fund, was co-founded by Freudenthal in an attempt to make venture investing available to the public investor. It was formed in collaboration with leading VC firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson.
