Mykrolis building Shanghai facility

July 30–BILLERICA, MA–Mykrolis Corp., a manufacturer of liquid and gas delivery systems, components and consumables for the semiconductor market, has begun construction on a product service facility in Zhang Jiang Technical Park in Pudong, Shanghai.

The facility will include sales offices, a customer service center and a pre-wetting liquid filter station and an ISO Class 5 cleanroom for the calibration of mass flow controllers.

“Building a new facility in Pudong to address the emerging customer base in the Peoples Republic of China signifies our continuing commitment in providing the marketplace with localized support on a global basis,” says Martin Gibson, director of worldwide service. “
