Aug. 5, 2002 — Altair Nanotechnologies Inc., a Reno, Nev.-based supplier of nanomaterials, announced it will provide data on its new phosphate-binding drug to a pharmaceutical company, according to a news release. The pharmaceutical company was not named.
Altair said its product is intended to address elevated phosphate levels in kidney dialysis patients and that it is currently in negotiations to provide data to a second company.
