Clean Rooms West offers new celing grid

AUG. 19–TUSTIN, CA– Clean Rooms West is offering a new cleanroom ceiling grid, which the company says allows for faster and cleaner installations.

The new grid, Precision T, is based on the design criteria of lightweight, sturdy and easy to install. The new grid is built for cleanrooms with 25 to 100 percent coverage with HEPA or ULPA filters. The grid accommodates all standard filters and cleanroom lights and is slotted for teardrop lighting.

A key feature of Precision T is a molded aluminum connection casting. This allows for the ceiling grid to be held in place by the casting and not the grid itself. Typical grids have a screw boss into the grid for the suspension hardware. Precision T eliminates the potential degradation of the grid by having the hardware mount into a predrilled and tapped casting and not the grid. The casting is cross-drilled and tapped for installation into the grid. The weight of the grid is transferred to the casting and not the points of insertion by the screws. The grid is now more secure and more easily installed.
