PerkinElmer launches microarray system

Aug. 6, 2002 — PerkinElmer Life Sciences has launched a fully automated system that will improve analysis of nucleic acid samples used in drug research.

The MultiPROBE II Nucleic Acid Normalization Workstation standardizes sample concentration to improve the quality of analysis, including sequencing reactions, microarray construction and gene expression. The system includes a microplate reader made by Molecular Devices Corp.

PerkinElmer Life Sciences, a Boston-based business unit of PerkinElmer Inc., makes drug discovery, research and clinical screening products, services and technologies for the life science industry.
