Tektronix announces optical switching modules

Aug. 7, 2002 — Tektronix Inc., a Beaverton, Ore., developer of test and measurement products for optical equipment designers and manufacturers, announced the availability of its OSW 8000 series optical switching modules.

The modules are intended to help optical equipment manufacturers reduce the cost and complexity of test operations by allowing component designers and engineers to distribute optical signals among different sources and destinations using micromirrors.
