Oct. 28, 2002 — The global market for carbon nanotubes is expected to grow from $12 million this year to as much as $700 million in 2005, according to a new report.
The Multimedia Research Group Inc.’s report said there now are 16 producers of nanotubes, half of which are in the United States. Countries such as Japan, South Korea, China and France all have announced industrial-scale production plants that should be online within three years.
The 153-page report, which includes forecasts for applications, is available in either English or Japanese for $1,495.
