Unisteel acquires 51 percent of Sonic Clean

OCT. 17-SINGAPORE–Unisteel Technology says it has entered into an agreement with shareholders of Sonic Clean Pte Ltd to acquire a 51percent stake in Sonic Clean for a total consideration of approximately $784,000 ($1.4 million Singapore dollars)

Following the acquisition, the company said shareholders Yeo Hock Huat and Kho Wah Eng will hold 31 percent and 18 percent respectfully in Sonic Clean, which provides aqueous cleaning services, consumables cleaning and sub-assembly work in cleanrooms.

Unisteel would not provide further details of the acquisition, but did say the transaction will be funded through internal sources.
