Mirkin makes Esquire’s ‘best and brightest’

Nov. 11, 2002 — Nanotechnology researcher and entrepreneur Chad Mirkin was named to Esquire magazine’s 40 “Best and Brightest” list in its December issue.

Mirkin was recognized for his efforts in pursuing the promise as well as products in the emerging field, noting his work as director of Northwestern University’s Institute for Nanotechnology and founder of NanoInk Inc. and Nanosphere Inc.

The list identifies people who Esquire calls “the next generation” of leaders in science, politics, business and the arts.
