Polychromix names new CEO, president

Nov. 4, 2002 — Polychromix Inc., a Woburn, Mass., developer of MEMS-based telecom components, named Brian Mitchell president and chief executive officer.

Mitchell, who has worked in the radio frequency and fiber optic parts industries for more than two decades, replaces Stephen Senturia, co-founder and president of the optical networking firm who had been acting CEO. Senturia remains chairman and becomes chief technology officer.

Mitchell most recently served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Aeroflex Inc.’s Microelectronics Solutions Group. He simultaneously was president and COO of Aeroflex MIC Technology Corp., sold to Aeroflex in 1996.
