SpectRx moves to SmallCap

Dec. 12, 2002 — SpectRx Inc., a Norcross, Ga., developer of medical detection, monitoring and treatment devices using MEMS and other technologies, announced that its common stock will trade on the Nasdaq SmallCap market, effective today.

The stock had previously traded on the Nasdaq National market, but no longer meets its financial requirements. A company spokesman said the move to the SmallCap market would be transparent and would not affect shareholders.
