Coventor launches upgraded MEMS software

Jan. 9, 2003 — Coventor Inc. said it has launched a major upgrade to its CoventorWare MEMS design software.

CoventorWare 2003 includes such enhancements as the ability to design MEMS starting at the system or device level. Users can build and edit models more quickly, either in two or three dimensions. The software also improves simulation capabilities to cover the full range of actuation physics used in MEMS, microsystems and microfluidic devices, according to a company news release.

Annual licenses for basic CoventorWare bundles begin at $25,000. Volume discounts and university pricing are available.
