For sale: Microchip’s Puyallup fab, $93.8 million

Jan. 16–CHANDLER, Ariz.–Microchip Technology has selected Binswanger/Puget Sound Properties to sell its 710,000 square foot fabrication facility in Puyallup, Washington.

The property, located at 1111 39th Avenue S.E, has been listed for $93.8 million and is available for immediate occupancy, now that Microchip has completely vacated the building.

Binswanger/Puget Sound Properties is marketing this property regionally, nationally and internationally, specifically targeting semiconductor and fabrication users that can benefit from the building’s state-of-the-art, fully functional status.

The 710,000-square foot complex sits on a 92-acre campus east of Tacoma. The campus consists of 10 buildings including three fabrication facilities. Fab D totals approximately 300,000 square feet, with an ISO Class 3, ballroom-style cleanroom, capable of 0.18-micron technology. Fab an ISO class 4 expansion, totals approximately 185,000 square feet. Fab A totals approximately 152,000 square feet and is ready for expansion.

The other buildings are for office and site support.
