FEB. 3–GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass.–AMD, a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based supplier of integrated circuits for the personal and networked computer and communications markets, has selected Berkshire Corp. as its primary supplier of cleanroom wipers for its North American sites.

Berkshire, a provider of disposable products for the critical environments market, with offices in the U.S., United Kingdom, Japan and Singapore, recently opened a manufacturing facility in Whitsett, N.C., which significantly expanded its capabilities in research and quality assurance, and increased its cleanroom laundry, distribution, and warehouse capacities.

We’re confident that our global capabilities will enable us to serve AMD’s growing North American and international needs.”
