Cintas one of America’s most admired

MARCH 6–CINCINNATI, Ohio–For the third year in a row, cleanroom garment maker Cintas Corp. has been named one of “America’s Most Admired Companies” in Fortune Magazine’s ranking of more than 560 corporations.

Cintas, also the nation’s largest industrial uniform provider, was ranked second overall in its industry sector, and among the top 10 of all U.S. companies in long-term investment value, financial soundness and use of corporate assets.

“Being named as one of ‘America’s Most Admired Companies’ is a real tribute to our partner-employees,” said Cintas CEO Bob Kohlhepp. “We have a unique culture that respects the individual, focuses on the customer, and encourages a spirit of teamwork and cooperation. It’s the basis for our success year after year, the reason why people want to work at Cintas, and why companies want to do business with us.”

Compared to its 2002 ranking, Cintas improved its position in each of Fortune’s eight key evaluation criteria.

For its annual survey, Fortune magazine measured companies in 66 industries and surveyed 10,000 executives, directors and securities analysts, who rated the companies in their own industries using eight key attributes of reputation: innovation, employee talent, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment value, and quality of products and services.
