March 25, 2003 — Work has begun on a nanotechnology park in northwest China, according to Xinhua, the official Chinese news agency.
The first phase of the park, located in the Shaanxi Province’s capital city Xi’an, is expected to be finished in two years. Plans include nanotech training, as well as research and development. An unidentified Taiwan company has invested $146 million in the park, the report said.
