April 9, 2003 — Agilent Technologies Inc, of Palo Alto, Calif., and Pierce Biotechnology Inc., of Rockford, Ill., will jointly market protein analysis products, according to a news release.

 

The deal calls for combined promotion of Pierce’s protein reagents and consumables, Agilent’s bioanalyzer and lab-on-a-chip devices developed by Agilent and Caliper Technologies Corp., of Mountain View, Calif. Initial efforts will focus on protein application areas where Agilent and Pierce have existing products that can be combined to provide improved solutions to customers, the release said.
