Analog launches new sensor

April 29, 2003 — Analog Devices Inc. launched a new accelerometer for high-performance uses, including automotive stability control, precision navigation and motion detectors, according to a news release.

The ADXL203 dual-axis accelerometer is the first product in a new family of high-accuracy, low-g sensors. Analog said the new accelerometer offers greater temperature stability than current technology, as well as higher accuracy and lower power consumption, the release said.
