April 28, 2003 — Applied Nanotech Inc. (ANI) signed a deal with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. to bring nanotechnology-based products to market, according to a company news release.
The technical cooperation agreement calls for the firms to share technology as well as research and development that will contribute to Mitsubishi’s business. Once a project is selected, Mitsubishi will pay ANI for its efforts on specific contracts, the release said.
ANI, which develops nanotubes for displays, medical cathode devices and hydrogen and other sensors, is a subsidiary of Texas-based SI Diamond Technology Inc.
