Clinomics gets patent for frozen microarrays

April 3, 2003 — Clinomics Biosciences Inc. has received a U.S. patent for designing and developing frozen tissue microarrays, according to a news release.

Clinomics said frozen tissue samples boost the reliability and viability of samples used for analysis. The company plans to develop the microarrays for several applications in drug development, including gene and protein characterization studies, the release said.
